If F1 cars look smaller than they have before, that's because their wheelbases are shorter at a maximum of 3.6m long. The F1-75's sidepods and engine covers are different to other teams', with a longer-wider opening down each side than, say, the McLaren F1 Team. It is another interpretation of the need to make the cooling elements as aerodynamically efficient as possible.
